Let’s get one thing clear.
Being a lightworker doesn’t mean that it’s all high-vibe, rainbows, crystals and joy ALL. THE. TIME.
There are these beliefs within our culture that:
- if you are spiritual, then you can’t be angry.
- if you are wholistic, then you are against modern medical professionals.
- if you are an Empath then you will only feel others’ emotions all the time.
- if you are a lightworker you must be light, bright, shiny and positive all the time.
These just aren’t true.
Let me repeat that. They are NOT true.
Actually the opposite is more accurate.
To be spiritual is to feel ALL your human emotions.
To be wholistic is to take ALL modalities into consideration - there is a time and place for all of them.
To be an Empath means you empower yourself and harness this gift/experience and become a steward of it.
To be a lightworker means that you are intimate with your shadow.
To be able to fully shine your light you must know your shadow.
Other wise it ends up dimming your light.
Without you even knowing it.
And many times we cannot see our own shadow. This is where guides, mentors and trusted conduits enter.
There is no other way around the shadow work.
Trying to skip it (the feels, the human experiences, the shadow work) is called spiritual bypassing.
Spiritual bypassing is where we skip over the human experience in the name of being ‘spiritual.’
It is the sacred work of every Empath, Lightworker, Intuitive, Sensitive and Spiritual Being to have the full spectrum of the human experience and integrate it.
This is where our soul growth happens.
Let me repeat that.
Soul growth comes from human experiences.
